In the Beginning
Headingley Speakers started in 2015, with only 5 members. The club met in person every other Monday, in Headingley.
Where We Are Now
Now the club has almost tripled in size and we won't be stopping there - we are always looking and welcome new members and guests alike! We meet online every Monday.
Our Meetings
We meet online every week. Meeting online allows anyone from anywhere to join. We pride ourselves on representing Yorkshire all over the world - you might be physically out of Yorkshire, but every Monday evening you can come visit us virtually!
Meeting every week allows all members and guests an opportunity to practise their speaking more frequently.

The meetings consist of preprepared speeches by our members and impromptu speaking. As a guest, you are welcome, and encouraged, to join in the impromptu speaking.
